Demands regulation of gambling business
In his letter to Prime Minister Yulia Tymoshenko, President Victor Yushchenko expressed concerns about lack of legal basis for gambling business in Ukraine, according to the President`s press-office. According to him such a situation leads to negative economic and moral effects on Ukrainian society.
President Yushchenko requested the government to complete a registry of gambling businesses in Ukraine and to conduct proper inspections in these facilities particularly in the field of licensing.
