Ukrainian Prosecutor General Yuriy Lutsenko has said that in the course of the investigation of the criminal organization led by former Minister of Income and Taxes Oleksandr Klymenko, the military prosecutors of the Prosecutor General's Office of Ukraine took part in the consideration of 258 petitions in courts regarding measures to ensure criminal proceedings.
"The largest number of them (163) concerned the imposition of arrest on the property of suspects. All petitions are satisfied," Lutsenko wrote on Facebook.
He specified that the suspicion was announced to 46 individuals for intermediate results, including heads of regional tax departments, as well as former Minister of Income and Taxes Oleksandr Klymenko.

According to Lutsenko, the property of suspects was arrested for the amount of UAH 900 million. "The total amount of the arrested property of Oleksandr Klymenko and his affiliated companies reaches another UAH 6 billion," Lutsenko said, adding that the work is continuing.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Ukrainian law enforcers on July 14 blocked property belonging to ex-minister of revenues and fees, who was in power during Viktor Yanukovych rule, Oleksandr Klymenko, worth $12 billion.
