Interior Ministry was accused of abuse
The Office of the Prosecutor General (OPG) has dismissed the charge against the Interior Ministry, according to Ukrayinska Pravda.
As was earlier reported the Verkhovna Rada formed the Inquiry Commission to investigate accusations against the Interior Ministry of law abuse.
“Today I’ve received the official latter from the OPG which investigated the charges. It reads that all the accusations are false,” marked Interior Minister Yuriy Lutsenko.
He said that he was absolutely sure of his innocence but such revanchists as Party of Regions member Kushnaryov might have found political reasons to blame him.
Lutsenko wants the case to be investigated as quickly as possible for the police may discharge its obligations.
Making comments on his possible resignation, Lutsenko stood for its fast solution, saying:
“They should either let me alone and let the law enforcement body to work or sack me as there is no other choice.”
