Ukrainian naval aviation and Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS CARNEY (DDG 64) held joint PASSEX training in the Black Sea, according to the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
These maneuvers were aimed to work out cooperation under NATO standards and increase the interoperability. Following the scenario, Ukrainian helicopters Ka-27 landed on the deck of the U.S. destroyer, reads the ministry's report.
