President decorated Klitschko with order

Victor Yushchenko has attended a ceremony to decorate boxer Vladimir Klitschko with the Order of Courage and confer the Hero of Ukraine title on NORD President Valentyn Landyk, according to the President`s press-office.

      Vladimir Klitschko was decorated for the courage, self-denial and will to win in last week’s fight in New York, in which he retained the International Boxing Federation heavyweight world title, and for promoting Ukraine worldwide.

      Valentyn Landyk was honored for his contribution to the development of Ukraine’s machine building, strengthening of the country’s economic potential and political activity.
