Government hopes for dynamic cooperation
During the meeting Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych stressed that Government of Ukraine hopes for dynamic development of cooperation of the Ukrainian companies with the world leader – “Shell” company, according to the CMU press-office.
“Above all, we attach a great significance to cooperation with “Shell” company and highly appreciate agreements reached between the company and NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine”. Now we initiate a stage of practical fulfillment of these agreements”, the Head of Government noted.
In his turn Patrick Van Dahle said that the “Shell” company intends not only practically to fulfill all agreements but strengthen its positions in Ukraine. “We view Ukraine as a very promising partner for our company”, he said.
At the present the “Shell” company is implementing a common project with NJSC “Naftogaz of Ukraine” on exploring and search of natural gas on the territory of Dnepr-Donetsk basin. According to the agreement, the “Shell” company will initially invest 100 million USD.
