Secretariat Chief of Staff Viktor Baloha met with Ukraine’s governors on Monday to wish them a Happy New Year and a Merry Christmas on behalf of the President of Ukraine, according to the President`s press-office.
He wished them to work efficiently to benefit Ukraine.
The governors urged the leadership of the country to adhere to the National Unity Pact and build peace in Ukraine. They said society wanted the President, the government and the Verkhovna Rada to ensure Ukraine’s democratic development and political stability, and to improve social standards.
Kyiv Governor Vira Ulyanchenko said all the governors had come to the capital today, describing them as a “team of the President.”
They wished the Prime Minister a Happy New Year at 10 a.m., the Speaker at 11 a.m. and the President at 2 p.m.
