To inspect the local housing and utility sector
Victor Yushchenko will visit Lugansk oblast on January 11 to inspect the local housing and utility sector, Deputy Secretariat Chief of Staff Viktor Bondar has said, according to the President`s press-office.
“The President is worried the citizens have no sufficient social protection while the government is raising utility prices,” he said.
Mr. Bondar added that Mr. Yushchenko would address the oblast’s major social and economic problems at his meeting with the local authorities in Alchevsk. He is also expected to visit the Alchevsk Mill to see how it is being reequipped.
