President congratulated countrymen with State Flag Day of Ukraine
President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko congratulated countrymen with State Flag Day of Ukraine, which is celebrated today.
“On this festive day I wish all of us wisdom, patriotism and mutual respect. Let our Flag appear in each home as a guard of Ukraine’s future,” the congratulation of the Head of State reads, reports the press service of the President.
V. Yushchenko underlined that “our flag – is a symbol of freedom and independence, glory and revival of Ukraine, and we have to save and honour it as the most national sacred object”.
