A third will decide who to vote for on the last day
The turnout of voters on 30 September may be more than 80%, but a third of them will make up their mind about who to vote for on the last day.
These are the results of an all-Ukrainian poll within frameworks of annual research program “Mental Bases of Election”, carried out by the Kyiv Institute of Management Problems named after Gorshenin, and publicized at a press conference in UNIAN today.
Gorshenin Institute director Kost Bondarenko informed that, according to the results of the poll, some 47.2% of those polled with take part in the election without any doubt, another some 37.1% will probably come to polling stations. Some 4.7% will not take part in the election, and another 6.3% will probably not take part. Some 4.7% could not answer the question.
At the same time, a third part of the electors will decide for who to vote during the last days before the snap poll. Some 63% have already made up their mind.
The poll was carried out during September 3-12 in 129 settlements of Ukraine. 2006 respondents aged over 18 years old were interviewed. The error margin does not exceed 2.2%.
