The President sent a letter to PM
President Victor Yushchenko on Monday sent a letter to Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych with a request to allocate money from next year`s budget for buying Ukrainian books for Ukrainian schools abroad, according to the President`s press-office.
Yushchenko said members of Ukrainian communities worldwide always broached this subject during his visits to other countries, asking the government to send them Ukrainian schoolbooks and video and music CDs.
