According to an UNIAN correspondent, leader of the State department of traffic police of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine Oleksiy Kalynskyi said this at the news conference in Kyiv today.
“The state commission, which controls all these issues, approved the example of the state sign, which will be at the windshield of the automobile and will indicate that the owner of the vehicle has the policy of the civil insurance responsibility”, said O. Kalynskyi.
According to his words, if this special sign is absent at the automobile, so the automobile has to be stopped and checked by the employees of the traffic police. He noted that they will check all the documents in accordance with Road Traffic Rules and also the presence of the civil – insurance responsibility policy; in the case of the absence of the policy, in accordance of the current legislation, the responsibility is provided.
O. Kalynskyi said that the sum for the absence of the policy makes up 17 hryvnias now, but in accordance with the corresponding project, this sum will be increased.
According to his words, law provides some category of people, who are free of the presence of the special sign at the windshield, particularly, it is said about invalids.
