The indicated volume included 13.9 mln tonnes of wheat. The barley yield in 2007 totaled 6 mln tonnes, down 47.3% as compared to 2006 conditioned by unfavorable weather of spring-summer 2007.

At the same time, the yield of maize for grain increased to 7.4 mln tonnes (up 15.5%) which was conditioned by the expansion of sowing areas.
