As of November 12, Odesa remained in the orange zone of epidemic-related risks of the spread of COVID-19.
"At the moment, neither regional nor municipal commission on emergency situations has made any decisions regarding the introduction of the weekend quarantine. In this regard, Odesa continues to be in the orange zone, complying with all quarantine-related measures provided for by this level of epidemic threats," Tykhovsky said.
Citizens must wear face masks and use hand sanitizers in public places, observe social distancing, etc., he said.
The press service of the mayor's office said that Odesa had not made any decisions to toughen the orange-zone quarantine. The decision to introduce the respective restrictive measures in Odesa was made by the local commission on emergency situations on October 15.
