Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Ruslan Khomchak has tested positive for COVID-19.

"Having tested positive for the coronavirus [COVID-19] disease, Khomchak is in self-isolation for two weeks. His condition is satisfactory," Head of the Public Relations Department of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Bohdan Senyk told UNIAN.

Ukraine said 2,582 new active COVID-19 cases had been confirmed across the country in the past 24 hours as of September 10, 2020.
The total number of confirmed cases grew to 145,612.
There were 76,712 active cases as of September 10.
The death toll is 3,023 with 44 fatalities recorded in the past day.
