Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal predicts the nationwide coronavirus-related quarantine will be extended after May 22, but more curbs will be lifted.

"Most likely, based on data from the World Health Organization, the quarantine will be extended with the next easing stages if the situation with the incidence and the way people recover allows us to do this," he told Ukrainian Radio.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers on March 11 imposed a nationwide quarantine, which was later extended until April 24 and further until May 11.
On May 4, the government reviewed the deadline for ending the coronavirus-related quarantine in the country, having set it for May 22.
