Italy and Ukraine will play in a half-empty stadium
Scotland`S Euro 2008 rivals Italy and Ukraine will play in a half-empty stadium next month after UEFA cracked down on the venue in Kiev, according to Sunday Mail.
The Group B tie is on the same night as Scotland travel to Paris to play France and could have a vital bearing on who qualifies.
However, UEFA have told the Ukrainians their normal Olympic Stadium capacity of 84,000 has to be slashed to just 41,500 because of safety concerns.
A shopping and leisure complex is being built next to the stadium which has caused UEFA and FIFA officials to inspect the ground.
