Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko announced at the first Ukrainian Women's Congress on November 22 that women's average monthly salary in Ukraine accounted for a mere 80% of the average monthly salary of men in the first half of 2017 (H1), according to the official's press service.
The average nominal salary of a full-time employee in Ukraine increased by 3.3% in September 2017 from August 2017, while it grew by 37.2% year-over-year (y-o-y), to UAH 7,351, or US$273, according to the State Statistics Service of Ukraine.
