Kharkiv International Airport has strengthened security measures after the State Aviation Service of Ukraine received from the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) a draft bulletin introducing restrictions for air traffic over the eastern part of Ukraine, the airport's press service told UNIAN.
Ukraine has provided the European Commission with arguments regarding the groundlessness of air traffic restrictions in the eastern part of Ukraine, while the results of the latest review will be made public in an updated EASA bulletin.
Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Volodymyr Omelyan has announced Ukraine will provide its feedback this week on recommendations issued by the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) on the restriction of flights for European airlines over the eastern part of Ukraine.
