Ukraine's largest oil producer, Ukrnafta, increased its net profit by 2.6 times in January-September 2017 year-over-year (y-o-y), from UAH 427 million (US$15.9 million) to UAH 1.097 billion ($40.9 million), according to the company's report on the financial and economic activities published in the National Securities and Stock Market Commission's information disclosure system.
State-run enterprise Energoatom, the operator of Ukrainian-based nuclear power plants, received UAH 473.6 million, or US$17.6 million, in net loss in January-September 2017, against UAH 996.3 million ($37.1 million) in net profit year-over-year (y-o-y), according to the company's report on the financial and economic activities published in the National Securities and Stock Market Commission's information disclosure system.
Ukrainian state-owned companies' net profit in 2016 totaled UAH 39.6 billion (US$1.5 billion), while the aggregate value of state assets was estimated at UAH 1.6 trillion ($61 billion), according to the Ukrainian Economic Development and Trade Ministry's website.
The State Food and Grain Corporation of Ukraine (SFGCU) received UAH 297.58 million, or US$11.5 million, in net profit in January-June 2017 (1H) against UAH 79.6 million, or $3 million, in net loss year-over-year (y-o-y), according to the company’s announcement.
State-run enterprise Energoatom, the operator of Ukrainian-based nuclear power plants, received UAH 1.629 billion, or US$63 million in net profit, in January-June 2017 (1H), which was 45.7% up year-over-year (y-o-y), according to the company's report.
