Ukraine's largest taxpayers increased by 21%, or UAH 31 billion (US$1.2 billion), their transfers to the state budget in January-June 2017 (H1) year-over-year (y-o-y), that is, to UAH 176.6 billion ($6.8 billion), head of the major payers department of the State Fiscal Service Yevhen Bambizov wrote on Facebook.
The Ukrainian State Fiscal Service (SFS) reports there were 13,300 taxpayers in the occupied areas of Donetsk and Luhansk regions in 2016, who paid taxes amounting to UAH 2.8 billion, or US$104 million, to the consolidated budget of Ukraine, according to Ekonomichna Pravda, a Ukrainian business news outlet.
