Pro-Russian militants simulate withdrawal of weaponry from Donbas – Ukraine's ATO Staff

The headquarters of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) claim that pro-Russian terrorists bring back their weapons to the line of contact overnight.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UAA1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

To mislead the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine, pro-Russian militants pull out their military equipment from the line of contact during the day and bring it back overnight.

This was announced by ATO speaker Andriy Lysenko at a briefing, an UNIAN correspondent reported.

"Signs that the enemy is preparing further advances in the direction of Mariupol, Artemivsk and from Luhansk are being registered," he said.

Lysenko also said border guards at the Lysychansk checkpoint on February 28 identified a Ukrainian citizen who was travelling by bus en route from Severodonetsk to Hirske (both in Luhansk region), as a member of an illegal armed group, according to the database of the Interior Ministry of Ukraine.

As UNIAN reported earlier, the Minsk agreements oblige both sides to withdraw heavy weapons from the line of contact. In particular, the Armed Forces of Ukraine on February 26 began to withdraw military equipment from along the entire line of contact in the ATO zone, while militants have pulled out only part of their weaponry.
