The leaders of the Luhansk People’s Republic militant organization have said that on Thursday they will stop the broadcasting 23 Ukrainian TV channels and the Russian independent TV channel Dozhd on the territories under their control.
According to the report of the LPR, the following channels will be disabled: 1+1; 2+2; Channel 112 Ukraine; Channel 24; Channel 5; Espreso TV; ICTV; Indigo TV; Inter; News One; Noviy Channel; NTN; Rada; STB; Channel 100; TET; Tonis; TVi; Ukraina; UNIAN TV; UBR; UTR; First National TV Channel and Russian Dozhd.
The self-proclaimed authorities have obliged telecom operators, who broadcast or rebroadcast TV channels, to take measures to delete these channels from the broadcasting network.
