There were no Ukraine army casualties over the period under review.
Russia's hybrid military forces on July 8 mounted 17 attacks on Ukrainian army positions in Donbas, eastern Ukraine.
"Proscribed weapons – 122mm artillery systems, 120mm and 82mm mortars – were used in seven instances," the press center of Ukraine's Joint Forces Operation (JFO) Headquarters said in an update posted on Facebook as of 07:00 Kyiv time on July 9, 2019.

Enemy forces also opened fire from grenade launchers of various systems, cannons installed on infantry fighting vehicles, heavy machine guns, and rifles.
Under attack came Ukrainian positions near the towns of Maryinka and Krasnohorivka, and the villages of Vodiane, Lebedynske, Pyshchevyk, Chermalyk, Bohdanivka, Novoluhanske, Pivdenne, and Mayorsk.
"The Ukrainian Army reported no casualties over the past day. Each enemy attack saw an adequate response," the JFO HQ said.
The Ukrainian armed forces used weapons that are not banned under the Minsk agreements.
According to intelligence reports, two enemy troops were killed and another three were wounded.
"From Tuesday midnight, Russia-led forces have once opened fire on Ukrainian positions near the village of Shyrokyne, using small arms. There have been no Ukrainian military casualties [on Monday]," the report said.
