Ukraine suffered its worst day's loss in weeks on Sunday, with six Ukrainian soldiers being killed in the Donbas conflict zone in the space of 24 hours, according to a report given by National Security and Defense Council spokesman Andriy Lysenko at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday.
"Over the last day, we have lost four Ukrainian soldiers as a result of military clashes," Lysenko said.
According to Lysenko, another two soldiers were killed and one injured as a result of a vehicle going over a land mine near the village of Shyrokyne.
"We call on all local residents to strictly observe the rules of movement in the Donbas conflict zone and choose only safe routes," Lysenko said.
