ATO update: Russia sends more tanks and artillery systems to Ukraine

This was announced by Deputy Commander of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) forces in eastern Ukraine Valentyn Fedychev in his update on the situation in the ATO zone, Donetsk Regional State Administration's press service wrote on Facebook.

"A new batch of military hardware has arrived in Debaltseve, this includes ten Gvozdika and four Akatsia self-propelled artillery units and four tanks," Fedychev said.

A new column of military hardware from Russia – up to five Grad multiple rocket launchers, up to five Ural trucks and up to 10 tanks – has crossed the border with Ukraine, Fedychev added.

"Up to 250 Russian soldiers have crossed the Ukrainian border," he added.

According to him, a field camp of Russian-backed militants with 20 Grad systems, over 30 T-72 tanks and up to 15 BMP-2 infantry combat vehicles are stationed not far from the town of Torez in Donetsk region.
