One Ukrainian soldier has been killed and another three injured in the Donbas conflict zone over the last 24 hours, the head of the press center of the ATO headquarters, Colonel Oleksandr Motuzianyk said at a briefing on Monday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"Over the last day, we have lost one Ukrainian soldier, and another three were injured as a result of military clashes," Motuzianyk said.
As reported earlier, the night of April 26, the situation in the Donbas conflict zone remained tense. In one case, the militants again hit in the direction of the village. They also fired artillery systems once near the village of Shyrokyne, near the Ukrainian-held city of Mariupol.
It is widely expected in Ukraine that Mariupol would be one of the Russian-backed militants’ next main targets were they to resume their offensive.
