A fighter of the Aidar Battalion was killed on May 22 while on a combat mission, and another member of the battalion was killed on May 26, the press service of the battalion reported on its Facebook page on Tuesday.
"On May 22, 2015 a fighter of the second Afghan assault company of our battalion, a resident of the town of Shastya, Oleksiy Hashchenko, born in 1965, was killed while on a combat mission," the report says.
It is reported that the soldier has been buried in the town of Starobilsk in Luhansk region.
"Today we’ve suffered another loss – a fighter of the second Afghan assault company, Yevhen Marchuk, born in 1988, from the city of Kryviy Rih of Dnipropetrovsk region, was also killed," the report reads.
