One Ukrainian soldier has been killed and another eight injured in the Donbas conflict zone over the last 24 hours, the head of the press center of the ATO headquarters, Colonel Oleksandr Motuzianyk, said at a briefing on Wednesday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"Over the last day, we have lost one Ukrainian soldier, and another eight were injured as a result of military clashes," Motuzianyk said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, Russian-backed militants in the Donbas attacked Ukrainian army positions in all areas of the front line from 1800 on May 26 to 0600 on May 27.
