OSCE: Some heavy weapon storage sites completely empty

Some storage sites for heavy weapons withdrawn by the Ukrainian armed forces and the militants are missing some military equipment, while other sites are completely empty,the head of the OSCE’s Special Monitoring Mission in Ukraine (SMM) Michael Bociurkiw said at a briefing in Kyiv on Thursday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.

"Despite the announcements of withdrawal of heavy weapons and its completion, the OSCE special monitoring mission could see the movement, the presence and use of heavy weapons along the demarcation line," he said.

"Some areas for the storage of heavy weapons [are missing some] of the military equipment that was withdrawn earlier by both sides. Moreover, some storage areas are empty," Bociurkiw said.
