One Ukrainian soldier was killed and 10 were wounded in the Donbas conflict zone in eastern Ukraine in the past day, according to presidential administration speaker for Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) issues Oleksandr Motuzianyk.
"In the past 24 hours, one Ukrainian soldier was killed, and 10 were wounded during military operations," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Sunday, an UNIAN correspondent reported.
In turn, the ATO press center on Sunday reported about 111 cases when the combined Russian-separatist forces broke the truce in Donbas in the last 24 hours, violating the Minsk peace agreements.
The enemy used artillery systems nine times and mortars 41 times to shell Ukrainian troops.
What is more, their tanks attacked the Ukrainian positions in the ATO zone seven times, and they fired on Ukrainian troops from Grad multiple rocket launchers three times in the last day.
