One Ukrainian soldier was killed and another 13 were wounded in the Donbas conflict zone in the last 24 hours, head of the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation headquarters, Colonel Oleksandr Motuzianyk said at a briefing on Tuesday, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
"In the last day, we lost one Ukrainian soldier, and another 13 were injured as a result of military clashes," Motuzianyk said.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 95 times overnight, using banned artillery systems 25 times, mortars 24 times, multiple rocket launchers three times, and rocket-propelled grenade launchers and small arms 48 times.
