In another sign of the failing ceasefire in eastern Ukraine, a Grad rocket has landed just a kilometer away from a residential area in the eastern village of Zoryane, while the OSCE monitors confirmed the missile was launched from militant-held territory, according to Ukraine Today.
OSCE monitor said: "The joint control center determined the Grad came from Staromuhaylivka. This territory is currently under the control of the militants from the Donetsk region," Ukraine Today reports.
The Soviet-era Grad rocket systems were supposed to be pulled back over a dozen kilometres away from the line of contact between government troops and combined Russian-insurgent forces, according to the Minsk ceasefire agreement.
