The combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 11 times overnight, which indicates a relative reduction in the intensity of armed provocations by the terrorists, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) wrote on Facebook early Tuesday.
It is noted that the militants fired small arms and rocket-propelled grenades on the Ukrainian positions in the villages of Pisky, Opytne, and the town of Avdiyivka.
In the vicinity of the town of Horlivka, the terrorists fired small arms, rocket-propelled grenades and heavy machine guns on the village of Luhanske. They also launched two anti-tank guided missiles in the direction of the Ukrainian troops near this settlement.
According to the press center, the Ukrainian military didn't open fire in response.
