The situation in Donbas has escalated late Tuesday as the militants violated ceasefire 14 times, the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation reported.
"The invaders have repeatedly opened fire from heavy machine guns and small arms in the direction of the Ukrainian soldiers, who are located in the area of Novhorodske, Zaitseve, Mironovske, Luhanske and Troitske," rads the report.
The largest number of militant attacks on the Ukrainian position was recorded at the Horlivska-Svetlodarsk Salient.
In addition, the Ukrainian strongholds near Luhansk were fired at from automatic mounted grenade launchers, while the Ukrianian positions south of Troitske were shelled twice from the mounted antitank grenade launchers.
