Two Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in fighting in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to a spokesman for the Ukrainian Presidential Administration.
"There were two wounded in action (WIA)," Andriy Lysenko, administration spokesman for Anti-Terrorist Operation issues, stated at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday, a UNIAN correspondent reported.
As UNIAN reported earlier, combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 42 times in the past 24 hours – 21 times in the Donetsk sector, 19 times in the Mariupol sector and twice in the Luhansk sector.
