One Ukrainian soldier was killed and two were wounded in fighting in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to a spokesman for the Ukrainian Presidential Administration.
"There was one killed in action (KIA) and two wounded in action (WIA)," Andriy Lysenko, administration spokesman for Anti-Terrorist Operation issues, said at a briefing in Kyiv on Friday, a UNIAN correspondent reported.
As UNIAN reported earlier, three Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in fighting in eastern Ukraine on August 24.
