Six Ukrainian soldiers were wounded in fighting in eastern Ukraine in the past 24 hours, according to Ukrainian Defense Ministry spokesman for Anti-Terrorist Operation Andriy Lysenko.
"There were six wounded in action (WIA)," he said at a briefing in Kyiv on Monday, an UNIAN correspondent reported.
According to Lysenko, four soldiers were wounded during militant shelling in the village of Zhovte, while other two were wounded in the Avdiyivka industrial zone.
As UNIAN reported earlier, combined Russian-separatist forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in eastern Ukraine 37 times in the past 24 hours.
