Special Monitoring Mission of the Organization for Security of the Council of Europe in its daily report published Monday said that some 1,200 explosions were recorded in Donetsk in the previous 24 hours as of 19:30 February 5.
"The SMM recorded fewer ceasefire violations in Donetsk region between the evenings of 3 and 4 February, including more than 800 explosions, compared with the previous reporting period," the report reads.
"In the following 24 hours, the SMM recorded more ceasefire violations than between the evenings of 3 and 4 February, including about 1,200 explosions," the monitors said, adding that the majority of the explosions were recorded in the Avdiyivka-Yasynuvata-Donetsk airport area.
