Russia's hybrid military forces have violated the ceasefire in Donbas eight times resulting in one Ukrainian soldier killed in action and another four wounded in action, the press center of the Ukrainian Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters has said.
"The current day in the ATO zone has once again demonstrated that the Russian terrorist formations are not going to observe the peace agreements, they continue targeted shelling, which causes human losses," the ATO HQ said.
At about 08:00 in the morning, Russian-backed militants opened fire on ATO forces not far from the village of Vodiane, using grenade launchers and small arms. At about 10:00 they again used grenade launchers to shell Vodiane and at 11:00 to attack the village of Shyrokyne.

As a result of the attack, two Ukrainian soldiers received shrapnel wounds. Another soldier was wounded in a booby-trap blast near the village of Krymske on Thursday morning.
"Militants fired small arms at the village of Novhorodske in the Donetsk sector. Another Ukrainian soldier suffered a shrapnel wound when the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the village of Zaitseve were attacked at about 15:00," the ATO HQ said.
On the previous day, Wednesday, July 26, Ukrainian positions were attacked 17 times in the ATO zone, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded in action.
