Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 28 times in the past 24 hours, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as killed in action (KIA) and another one as wounded in action (WIA), according to the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
In the Donetsk sector, the enemy used grenade launchers three times against the Ukrainian fortified positions near Butivka coal mine. In addition, the militants repeatedly fired mortars, grenade launchers and small arms on the southern outskirts of the town of Avdiyivka. At about 22:00 Kyiv time, they opened fire from a 120mm mortar, an anti-aircraft gun and heavy machine guns on the Ukrainian defenders stationed in the village of Troyitske. Moreover, enemy mortars were used near the villages of Maiorsk, Verkhniotoretske, and Zaitseve.
The Russian occupation forces used mainly small arms in the Luhansk sector. The enemy attacked the Ukrainian fortified positions in the villages of Novo-Oleksandrivka, Novotoshkivske and Stanytsia Luhanska in the evening and at night. At about 19:00 Kyiv time, a Ukrainian soldier in the village of Novozvanivka was fatally wounded by a sniper.
The least number of the violations of the ceasefire was in the Mariupol sector at the end of the day. However, even there the illegal armed groups used weapons to attack the ATO forces: small arms in the village of Lebedynske and grenade launchers in the village of Talakivka.

"It should also be added that civilian houses in the village of Vodiane came under fire from proscribed four-barrel rocket launchers yesterday morning. The invaders made one of the launchers more mobile, having mounted it on a truck. Fortunately, there were no casualties among the local residents," the ATO HQ said.
In total, the illegal armed groups used mortars 10 times, infantry fighting vehicles five times and grenade launchers 13 times in the last day.
