The OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine has said members of the so-called Donetsk People's Republic ("DPR") have detained a truck and the driver with the organization's camera equipment and held for more than seven hours near the village of Olenivka.
"DPR' obstructing OSCE freedom of movement. Truck & driver with OSCE camera equipment is detained for 7+ hrs @ Olenivka," the OSCE SMM wrote on Twitter on August 1.
"[The] truck carrying OSCE camera equipment crossed @ Olenivka after [being] held for 7.5 hrs by 'DPR' – violation of Minsk & OSCE mandate."
"OSCE must have full/unhindered freedom of movement to do work – [the] sides have obligation to protect SMM freedom of movement," the OSCE tweeted.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the Russian-backed militants in Donbas are reported to be preparing a series of terrorist acts against OSCE representatives in order to later blame the Ukrainian army for this.
