Russia's hybrid military forces attacked Ukrainian army positions in Donbas 24 times in the past 24 hours, according to the press service of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
"As was the case in the past few days, the enemy was most active in the Donetsk sector. In particular, almost 70% of the total number of daily shelling incidents happened in Avdiyivka's industrial zone, Butivka coal mine and the village of Zaitseve," the report says.
Moreover, after 18:00 on Thursday, the militants opened fire from small arms and heavy machine guns several times on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the Avdiyivka industrial zone, Butivka coal mine, and the villages of Zaitseve and Pisky.

It was relatively quiet in the Mariupol sector at the end of the day.
"According to operational data, the enemy's main efforts are now aimed at maintaining readiness of its reserve, handling troops by covert means, improving fortification equipment and conducting combat training. There are no signs of preparations for an offensive operation," the ATO HQ said.
