Russia's hybrid military forces were most active in the Mariupol sector on Monday, October 23, with one Ukrainian soldier reported as wounded in action (WIA), according to the press center of the Anti-Terrorist Operation (ATO) Headquarters.
At night, the militants used 82mm mortars against the defenders of the village of Shyrokyne. In the afternoon, the outskirts of the same village came under a grenade launcher fire. In addition, the fact of the use of an enemy anti-tank grenade launcher was recorded near the village of Vodiane. At about 17:00 Kyiv time, the enemy started firing small arms on the Ukrainian fortified positions near the town of Maryinka. The Ukrainian military fired back and forced the mercenaries to adhere to the ceasefire. Unfortunately, one Ukrainian soldier was wounded in that fighting.
