Canada has agreed to provide Ukraine with another CAD 11 million worth of non-lethal military assistance, including body armor and night vision devices, according to the Web site of the Canadian television channel CBC, with reference to the statement made by the Defense Minister of Canada Rob Nicholson in Ottawa, on Wednesday.
In particular, a new aid will include: CAD 5 million for protective gear and equipment needed in cold weather, CAD 3 million for the disposal of explosives, CAD 1 million for communications equipment, CAD 1 million for night-vision and thermal binoculars, and CAD 1 million for medical training.
