The Pentagon has begun studying the new military doctrine of Russia, spokesperson of the U.S. Defense Department Vanessa Hillman said on Wednesday, according to Lenta.ru.
"We are now analyzing the new military doctrine of Russia,” Hillman said.
“For the last 20 years we’ve been working hard to build a partnership with Moscow. But the new doctrine of the Russian Federation and its actions towards Ukraine challenges the American conception of the world in Europe.
"It is necessary for Russia to respect the rules of international law and its obligations.
"Washington is not going to compromise on security issues in Europe.”
