It is planned that UN Assistant Secretary-General for Human Rights Ivan Šimonović and United Nations Under-Secretary-General Jeffrey Feltman will speak during the open part of the meeting to give briefings.

In March, the chairman of the UN Security Council is France. As the country's permanent representative to the UN, François Delattre, reported on Wednesday, the council will likely have to meet again in connection with the situation in Ukraine.

It is possible that at the end of the month there will be another meeting concerning the implementation of the Minsk agreements to resolve the situation in the east of Ukraine, Delattre said.
