The material is as strong as metal but weighs much less. The weight of the car is about 500 kg, including the car's non-printed components and excluding the engine.

The auto measures 3.6 meters long, 1.6 meters wide and can seat two passengers. The Shuya is capable of running at speeds of up to 40 km per hour, driven by an electric motor.

It cost just $1,770 to create the car. The costs included materials, non-3D printed components, and labor.
