U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry reports he had frank discussions with Russian President Vladimir Putin on Tuesday.
"Had frank discussions with President #Putin & [Foreign Minister] FM #Lavrov on key issues including #IranTalks, #Syria, #Ukraine," Kerry tweeted after talks with the Russian high-ranking officials.
He also stressed it is important to keep lines of communication between the U.S. and Russia open as the sides address pressing global issues.
