Dutch Prosecution Service's website posts Ukraine's map without Crimea

The Public Prosecution Service of the Netherlands (Openbaar Ministerie) has posted an MH17 investigation infographic with an image of Ukraine's geographic map without the territory of Crimea and the south of Ukraine's Odesa region (Bessarabia) on it, according to eurointegration.com.ua, which refers to Openbaar Ministerie's website.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! UAA1 !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

In particular the map illustrates the area where the MH17 aircraft was downed by Russian-backed militants in Donbas on July 17, 2014.

The same infographic was posted on Openbaar Ministerie's Twitter page, which was criticized by followers from Ukraine, eurointegration.com.ua wrote.

Later, the Embassy of Ukraine in the Kingdom of the Netherlands informed on its Facebook page that Ukrainian Ambassador Olexander Horin had had a conversation with Political Director of the Foreign Ministry of the Netherlands Wim Geerts about an infographic published in one of the news pieces on the Dutch Openbaar Ministerie website.

"Mr. Horin has informed Mr. Geerts that Crimea, which is a part of Ukraine, is missing from Ukraine's map in the infographic. The Political Director of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands thanked for the information and assured that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Netherlands will do everything necessary so that 'this unfortunate mistake' is corrected," the Embassy wrote.

The said infographic isn't available on the Dutch Openbaar Ministerie's website and its Twitter page now.
